October 01 2004 -- Canadian mouldmaker Wentworth Mold and PET packaging specialist Plastic Technologies (PTI) have joined forces to expand Wentworth’s "Fast-to-Market" designs for blow moulding.

Under the terms of the agreement, PTI will use the Wentworth technology in additional blow moulding machines at its US facility and its European subsidiary in Yverdon, Switzerland.

Wentworth will provide additional mould carriers to PTI, and will produce prototype moulds for PTI at both its Hamilton, Ontario, and Nottinghamshire, UK, sites. It will also use PTI’s prototyping capabilities to trial its moulds.

PTI will also have full access to Wentworth’s online job quoting service.
