Wentworth Consolidates its PET Preform and Injection Blow Mold Business in North America

Wentworth Technologies, the world’s No.1 independent manufacturer of blow molds for the packaging industry, has announced that the consolidation of Jersey Mold and Electra Form operations has been completed. The consolidated company operates under the name of Electra Form and is located in Vandalia, Ohio. The Jersey Mold plant in Millville, New Jersey, will be sold. The PET Preform and Injection Blow Molds Group operations in Poniatowa, Poland, Mansfield Woodhouse, UK, and the sales/service unit in Singapore will remain without change. The objective of the consolidation in North America is to provide better customer service from a central location, to lower manufacturing cost, and to expand the capabilities of test and small production runs in support of our customers. The combined company has more resources, equipment, people and know-how.
In addition, the Vandalia operations will have continued support from the plant in Poniatowa, Poland and the plant in the UK. Wentworth is developing aggressively the manufacturing capabilities in Poland to significantly lower the cost of final products to customers. The consolidation has been well received by the customers.
