support for the installation and mold start-up of PET preform injection tools
and PET blow molds. The companies provide dedicated service technicians with
over 30+ years experience (unique in the industry) for all common preform
injection molding systems and PET blow mold machinery. The Wentworth/EFI
technicians are available 24/7 to travel to customer facilities.
Mold Installation & Start-Up services

On-site toolmakers & mold technicians assist in the installation and
commissioning of new tooling and turn-key systems.

Processing technicians are able to analyze and provide solutions for any
processing or tooling issues that may occur during start-up and/or
production.

Local coverage in major markets such as N.America, L.America and Europe. Plans
to extend this local support in Asia by end 2004.

Support on processing PET preforms and PET bottles on common machine platforms
such as Husky, Netstal, Cincinnati, Krones, SIG & Sidel.
A recent example for PET blow molds was in
L.America. The launch of a high profile PET bottle required
optimal mold quality, perfect bottles within tolerance and a
fast, cost effective start-up. Wentworth Mold Inc. sent one
toolmaker and one process technician. In less than 48 hours
each mold and bottle was qualified and approved by the end
customer – compared to previous experiences with OEM’s this
start-up would have normally taken one week per mold/bottle
qualification.
