Wentworth Tachnologies
Acquires Germany's Leading
Precision Moulds Manufacturer

Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, May 24, 2002. Wentworth Technologies, leading Mould Manufacturer, acquired LEGO Werkzeugbau GmbH, a wholly owned mould manufacturing subsidiary of LEGO Company of Billund, Denmark. The subsidiary was established in 1956 in Hohenwestedt, Germany as a captive tool shop to supply moulds for manufacturing of the quality LEGO® toys. In its forty-six years under LEGO® management the tool shop has developed into one of the world's most advanced precision mould manufacturing operations, and is recognized throughout the industry for its strong corporate management, effective local management, and highly qualified, motivated, and stable team of tool workers, engineers and support personnel. The company employs 110 people and maintains an extensive apprenticeship program. Wentworth has renamed the acquired company AMTEC GmbH - Advanced Mould Technologies.

AMTEC will continue to concentrate on the highest quality precision moulds for LEGO Company and other quality-oriented customers in the medical, telecommunications, electronics, and computer industries; however, Wentworth will also expand its capacity and capabilities to service new customers. All customers will be supported by Wentworth's global capabilities in seventeen (17) mould manufacturing and service facilities in Europe, North America and Asia.
